It is at once wonderful and terrible: Martin is on the move!
He is not very rapid in his caterpillar-like commotion, but that makes it all the more disconcerting. While I think there is time to leave him on the blanket and unload the dishwasher, I come back only to find that he slowly but surely maneuvered himself all the way to the other side of the room, sweeping the floor clean with his ever-exploring mouth – or leaving a trail of curdled milk spots to map his route.Don’t get me wrong: I am thankful for the evidence that neurons are connecting and proprioception is developing. But life just got a lot more complicated…
